Since this is my first post on my new blog, I felt it only fair to give a simply explanation of the game of politics. To truly understand politics:
Position a two foot screw on the floor and place yourself directly on the top of the screw. Now, slowly twist yourself and repeat "Why am I doing this to myself?"
Enlightenment: Your Addicted to the Game!!! And every four years it's even more exciting!!!
It doesn't matter who the players are, it's the team that creates the winning strategy that convinces the American Voting Public that the team's candidate is the one to save the American Way of Life along with Baseball, Mom and Apple Pie.
The only problem is that recently baseball got shot full of steroids, mom is a guy in drag and the apple pie has worms!(Although worms do have protein unless of course they've been genetically altered.) And the American Way of Life--Whoa Baby! That was snatched by a select group of corporate executives who feel no loyalty or compassion for their employees or the public good. They were the same ones who signed onto the George & Dick team and gave us a bigger screw to sit on and are still laughing as they carry the heavy load of excess profits to the bank singing "We Earned 'Em, We Earned 'Em."
Now, your probably thinking I'm just a little skeptical about politics. No. I approach my political views with Sarcastic Skepticism. I love politics. Why else would I listen to all the moronic talking heads on television and radio. Lets face it, we need to start thinking for ourselves instead of spouting the "Spin" that dribbles from the talking heads that basically repeat the lines given them by the two major parties. The Republicans squeeze you until they bleed you dry in the name of Corporate America and Buddies. The Democrats promise they'll stand up for you just as soon as they can locate a back bone.
