TAXCUTS, TEA PARTIES AND TOADS. OH MY!

August 23rd 2010 02:12
THE REPUGS ARE COMING!

This is shaping up to be a great election year for corporate whores and slime laden liars. Every NeoCon bull shitting Republican is crawling out from under the rocks and successfully convincing the American Public they can save the Nation with tax cuts for wealthy Americans and reduce the deficit.

HOW THE HELL DO YOU REDUCE THE DEFICIT BY GIVING THE WEALTHIEST PEOPLE IN AMERICA BILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN TAX CUTS?

TAX CUTS DO NOT STIMULATE THE ECONOMY AND CREATE JOBS, THEY BENEFIT THE WEALTHY. THEY ADD TO THE DEFICIT BY DECREASING REVENUE. IT'S THAT SIMPLE AND MOST LEGITIMATE ECONOMISTS AGREE.

LEAVE THE TAX CUTS FOR THE MIDDLE INCOME FOR SURVIVAL PURPOSES AND ALLOW THE TAX CUTS FOR THE ELITE WEALTH CROWD TO EXPIRE. THEY MIGHT HAVE TO GO WITHOUT A NEW MERCEDES, BUT I DOUBT IT.

Let's get real for once. We have allowed big corporations, aka Big Business, to buy the political process in America. We allow people like Rupert Murdoch to feed us full of bullshit through Fox News commentators and convince us his ownership of the Republican Party doesn't exist. Murdoch and his media empire support and own the Republican Party and grow stronger every day.

We buy the crap that is spread as news and are convinced that we need to replace the Democrats who control the Congress with the NeoCon Murdoch Republicans who brought us a war based on lies and have brought this Nation to it's knees economically.

They are willing to spend our tax dollars to benefit big business for their own political welfare, but refuse to help the newly unemployed survive this mess they created during the Bush-Cheney Era.

They don't give a rat's ass if a vet can't get medical care or a job, or if they don't come home at all. As long as they can promote themselves as the patriotic politician who cares about freedom and keeping America safe.

They also happen to be the ones who started screwing over Veterans and the middle income wage earner years ago. The Great Republican Idol Ronald Reagan was known for stealing from veteran entitlements and throwing them out onto the streets, just so he could give tax cuts to his wealthy friends. Yes, everyone's Grandfather Ronnie Reagan didn't care about vets, the elderly, children or the average person. This was the beginning of the glorious Republican NeoCon emergence and the American Public bought it and continue to buy this line of bullshit.

If you think I'm just another Liberal Democrat spouting off about the Republicans for the benefit of Democrats, think again!

Right now, I'm not very happy with the Democrats or the current Administration who refuse to stand up for the working public, which includes all minorities that are being vilified by slimey politicians and so-called patriotic tea partiers that closely resemble racists of the past.

Someone please tell me, at what point do Democrats and this Administration say enough of this hateful bullshit from the NeoCons and the Murdoch News Media.

When do they stand up for the American Public with health care not controlled by Big Insurance Corporations?

When do they stand up for a Livable Minimum Wage instead of listening to the Big Business toadie U.S. Chamber of Commerce?

When do they stop the erosion of constitutional rights in the name of fear and a right wing Supreme Court? Remember Germany's political trip to Hell? Right wing Neo Fascist Fear mongering for political purposes.

CONVINCE THE MASSES TO FEAR AND YOU CONTROL THE PEOPLE. ESPECIALLY THE VOTING PUBLIC.

ARE WE, THE AMERICAN PUBLIC, SO COWARDLY THAT WE ALLOW SO-CALLED REPUBLICAN NEOCONS TO CONVINCE US THAT ONLY THEY CAN SAVE US THROUGH HATE.

IS THIS THE NEW CHRISTIAN WAY OF THE CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICAN PARTY?

GOD SAVE US.....WE'RE IN BIG TROUBLE!!!

I agree -- although I do think this post is a bit more shrill than I would have written it. I think the point is that the middle class is that group of people whose income and wealth goes beyond basic needs. These are the people who can manage to pay for rent and food, but also go to a mavie, buy a pizza,l maybe even afford a vacation. Without a middle class, our entire economy, and nation, wither. No matter how much money the rich spend, there won';t be the distribution needed to keep industry going. By supporting policies which favor the distribution of wealth to the richest 2%, the Republicans have choked off the middle class, leading to an economic trough where unemployment keeps businesses from growing, and lack of business leads to perpetuation of unemployment.

Unfortunately, the Democrtas have failed to recognize the extent of the problem, and, as with the initial stimulus package, have been willing to compromise on the half a loaf theory. In the case of economic stimulus, the initial bill was simply too small, and too heavily weighted in favor of tax cuts which, as correctly stated, don't provide adequate stimulation.

To be honest, I think you're right and I'm wrong, and we need more fervor, less self control. We're neither angry enough or loud enough. Keep going!

Sam, we do agree.

I'm not sure if the Democrats fail to recognize the extent of the problem or just refuse to act out of fear. Fear of alienating their large corporate donors, many of which are the same donors to the Republican Party.

This is a serious problem, especially in the Senate, where it has become much easier to purchase the loyalty of a Senator by monetary pressure. In the past, when I consulted on political campaigns we would adjust the message to include both the public and the large donors. Now, the message is established for the politician by the largest donors which is usually a large corporation.

Democrats have forgotten the principles of their party establishment and refuse to take a strong stand for anything. They are allowing Republican NeoCons to set the message of Nothingness and convince the American Public they are the Savior Party.

I believe we need more fervor to combat the likes of Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh and Fox News Corporation.

We need Our President and His Administration to stop acting like George W. Bush with a brain and start representing the People. All the People, not only the persona of the Corporations.

Thank you Sam. I truly enjoyed your comment.
