POLITICS: ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK!
July 22nd 2008 22:50
IT'S STARTED!
Now we're going to see the true nature of the Presidential campaigns. The McCain camp will attack anything and everything that Barack Obama says or does. And the Obama camp will counterattack and attack anything John McCain says or does. If either were to say they like apple pie, the other would accuse them of having the apples shipped in from overseas from a terrorist supporting group which plans on using the profits from the sale of the apples to attack the United States.
Neither candidate can be patriotic enough for the other campaign camp, it wouldn't be patriotic to say the other candidate is just as patriotic as our candidate. That would be unpatriotic. To think that both candidates love America and want to do the right thing by trying to solve our immediate problems would be sacrilegious. Can you imagine if both campaigns were to admit that the other candidate was a good person who just wants to be elected President of the United States because they believe they are the right person for the job.
It doesn't matter if a candidate is young or old as long as they have the good sense to appoint intelligent, caring people to advise them and do the right thing for the American public, not the corporate greed whores who have been sitting next the the Moron-in-Charge for the last seven years.
It is impossible to believe either of the candidates could be worse than what we have been subjected to by the current administration. We The People elected a former womanizing, alcoholic cokehead that has synapse problems when he speaks, in fact, he couldn't remember what he had done in the past when running for the Presidency. There goes the 12 Steps! Everything the current President was given by his father and friends turned to shit. Oil, baseball and now the United States. During Vietnam, his daddy got him a spot in the Air National Guard, which at the time was where the influential and rich could hide their draft age sons. The man was trained as a pilot, but screwed that up because he couldn't pass his flight physical. What do you think? Alcohol or drugs, or maybe a combination of both?
And this is what We The People decided to put into The Office of the Presidency twice! And what has he done? What else? Screwed it up. He wanted to be a War President, but forgot that true warriors die on the battlefield when cowards decide to go to war without sound advice and leadership. I had an old Sergeant once tell me, "COWARDS MAKE THE MIGHTIEST WARRIORS BECAUSE THEY NEVER STAND ON THE FRONTLINE!"
Now, I ask both campaign camps to do the American Public a favor. Tell us what your candidate can do, with the help of good non-corporate advisors, for the American People and how he plans on solving our immediate problems.
We've had the worst Presidency in history since Herbert Hoover, so how could either of the two candidates screw it up any more, unless they followed this President's policies and the policies given him by corporate executives that have no empathy for the American worker.
Let's talk policy...Not negative bullshit!
