WHAT WILL MCCAIN DO?
As a former political consultant, I think the Obama Campaign just blew the election with his Biden selection if McCain makes the leap with Condoleezza Rice.
Barack Obama just said to all the female voters in America "SCREW YOU! I'M BARACK OBAMA AND I'LL DO AS I PLEASE!" (Folks, I'm not a McCain fan, nor will I vote for McCain.) Obama just told the American woman that they have to vote for him even if he doesn't support the notion that a woman should be the VP. Don't buy the crap that the pollsters are passing out that women are saying they will support Obama without a female VP..........watch what happens if McCain names a woman, especially an educated black woman who has proven she can dish it out with the best of them.
Now, if McCain names a male VP all bets are off and the race stays close. If he names Condoleezza Rice, watch the polls after the conventions.
I've been giving the Obama campaign high marks for their strategy up until this time. Now they have gone with their inside polling and will be very surprised election night with the loss of many women voters. This was a despicable slap in the face to the American Woman. The Obama people just told the American Public that a young inexperienced black man is qualified to be President, but a woman is not qualified to be his running mate. BLUNDER, BLUNDER, BLUNDER. Unless, McCain follows suit with a male pick.
Biden gives Obama the foreign policy experience he lacks, but he also gives him the guy who said," you can't go to a 7-11 or a Dunkin' Donuts unless you have an Indian accent." I wonder what he has to say about Hispanics?
See where I'm going with this? The Republicans now have an arrogant Washington Insider with a long record of gaffes and mush mouth to go along with a young arrogant elitist to campaign against. Oh, and lets not forget that Joe Biden voted for the Bankruptcy Bill that SCREWS OVER the average American wage earner. Oh Yeah...that Joe Biden.
The possibilities for negative attack politics are unlimited, especially since Obama just thumbed his nose at the American Woman Voter.
Let's hope the Democrats can hold the House and Senate there is a strong possiblity that if McCain picks the right VP, he can win this election.
