MartyOBAMA: WHO SAYS HE'S A BLACK CANDIDATE?

IS HE OR ISN'T HE?
I'm down in Orlando, Florida with this gorgeous long haired Irish American woman who is attending a summer week long workshop for her Doctoral degree along with 1500 other Doctoral candidates. Now, this is really cool stuff. Almost every ethnicity is represented here including brown, white, yellow, black, red and some beautiful combinations.....which will blow your socks off and make you take notice that we are one lucky country to have all of these people representing America. This is all taking place at Disney World, ironic isn't it?
Now, I'm having lunch with the Irish hotty..can you tell I'm trying to make points here in case she might read this post? At the table next to me are two very beautiful African American women in their 30s and a white male in his early 40s who tells them of his ancestry, which I think was Swede or Swiss. Who gives a rat's ass? The interesting thing was the three of them are Doctoral candidates and they are discussing Barack Obama.
The two women are jerking this guy's chain and he dosen't pick up on it because he is to busy staring at their breasts, and they know it. So, the one tells him she's thinking about voting for Obama because she thinks he has a nice build and a fine ass. The other woman says she's not sure because she doesn't know if she can vote for another white guy when she was supporting Hillary Clinton. This guy chokes on his sandwich and mutters,"But he's black..he's not white."
"He's not black, he's white," she retorts and winks at her friend.
"Your talking about Barack Obama and he's black."
"No," she insists, "he's white. What makes you think he's a black man, because he's married to a black woman?"
"No, the black community seems to be claiming him as one of their own, aren't they?"
"That doesn't mean he's black. Hell, we claimed Bill Clinton as one of ours and he isn't black."
"But, I mean he has a black father......"
"Yeah, and he has a white mother and was raised by a white grandmother, so why doesn't that make him just as white to the white community as you seem to think he's black to the black community. See, your thinking about not voting for him because he's black and you won't admit it, so think of him as white and vote for him because he is capable of doing a good job."
The guy didn't know what to say. The two women excused themselves and said they would see him back in class. They walked away laughing and left the poor guy dumbfounded.
The woman made a great point for those who won't vote for Obama because they think of him as a black candidate. Think mother and think white, especially if you would vote for his policies if you didn't think he was black.
The point is that here in America we are a true melting pot and all of the races have been mixing for centuries. Drop the color issue, you might be surprised who is in your family history. Vote for the individual who can help us return to what we were before George W."I screwed up another job" Bush.
