Oh Yeah! Big Time!
Wake up Progressives! The man has to get elected. Do you want another four years of George "I've always been a wimp" Bush policies? Do you want more conservative Supreme Court Justices that say "I believe in the Constitution". Unless it interferes with their fellow country club business friends who wine and dine and make sure they receive their "little perks". You know, like a form of legal prostitution. Oops, lets not get off track. More about the conservative supremes later.
Do you want more EPA policies that say, " Go ahead try to breathe clean air, but not with our help. Our policy is profit before health." Don't you just love 'em. The Bushies really love the American public.
I know his recent vote on the surveillance law was upsetting. It pissed me off too. But the man had no choice. What do we do? Throw Obama under train and vote McCain? No Baby! We've already suffered with the alternative to Obama. George "chicken little" Bush and Dick " bite the head off a mouse " Cheney. (A bat would be to scary for Cheney. Not know for bravery during the Vietnam Era....he and George W. should be pro gay marriage, they would have made the perfect couple.
During an election, you do what you have to do to win. Period. You hold your nose and go for it. Under no circumstances do you give the Republican swifties the opportunity to slice you up the way Kerry allowed them and fail to respond immediately. We need Obama to be elected and we need to keep a Democratic congress to support his policies. It's time for a change. It's time for the generational baton passing, as it was when JFK ran against Nixon.
Progressive Democrats don't get cold feet now. Stand up and support the only candidate that can make a difference. If he doesn't deliver, than four years from now we vote him out and try again. You can never stop trying!!
