New Year Money
The New Year looks bright for corporations and the wealthy since the Republicans convinced the American Public they were the victims of overzealous Democrats led by President Obama.
The Democrats put their tails between their legs and momentarily forgot how to fight back. They allowed the Republicans to own the message. Spin as we call it. They did a great job, especially with Obama trying to get along with them. There is a sucker born every minute.
The good things that happenend with this election is that many of the Blue-dog Democrats who were acting like Republicans lost to Republicans. Note to wannabe candidates: Stay on message with the party and don't act like the opposing party.
Another wonderful outcome of this election for President Obama is the Tea Party candidates that were elected......they are going to make life tough on the Republican leadership. Obama came out of this election cycle with far better chances for reelection as he will suddenly grow a set of balls and show a new side of his personality that can play the political game of hard knocks, otherwise " Hello Jimmy Carter Presidency".
Now if the Democrats decide to get in the game and change the Senate rules on January 5, they can accomplish much and show the American Public who represents the working people of this country and who represents the elite corporations.
I'm looking forward to the next two years of political infighting and plan on being a much more productive political blogger on Orble. I enjoyed this past election cycle because it demonstrated how a Political Party can go from "Change to Stupidity" in one election cycle.
