MCCAIN:

Finally a presidential candidate is speaking out against a system that is going to be depleted by 2041 unless some super hero comes to our rescue. And who better than that stalwart of the Savings and Loan fiasco, John McCain. He is speaking out about finding a way to save the system so the little guy who pays into social security can scrape by during his/her retirement years after some large corporation sent his/her job overseas and raided the pension plan.
I'll bet Super John refuses to accept his social security check since he earned over $400,000 in 2007 and his wife Cindy is worth approximately $100 Million and earned $6 Million in 2006. Now this is the kind of guy who leads by example. Not like all those other people with high incomes that don't need the benefits, but accept them any way because they earned them. Just think if more people who don't need social security, like John McCain, would stand up and do the right thing and shout in unison with John, "I'm rich and I don't need this, give it to someone who does!" The system would save money and it could be used to help those who actually live on their social security check. Maybe than some of our older citizens wouldn't have to chose between food, prescriptions or heating their homes in the colder climates. I mean, what the hell would John need a social security check for? Cindy has enough money to fill the gas tank of her private plane to fly around Arizona. Cindy would never let John accept those measly checks! That is so insulting to even think he would accept those checks. They care about the continued health of the social security system. They know some people have no other source of income. They are the kind of true Americans our children can look up to and say, "They Care about us!"
What? Oh, John does accept his monthly social security check of $1929.75? And has been taking the money since he turned 65, seven years ago. Uh, well, uh, it must be the law...he has to accept the money.
Oh, it's not required?
Well, like they would say on Saturday Night Live, "NEVER MIND."
