HE IS WHAT HE SAYS HE IS FOLKS!
There is this controversy going around that President-Elect Barack Obama isn't African American. The argument goes that since his mother was white than he can't be African American, he has to be biracial.
GET A LIFE! KNOCK OFF THIS CRAP AND LET'S GET BACK TO THE IMPORTANT THINGS, SUCH AS SAVING OUR COUNTRY AFTER THE DISASTROUS BUSH REPUBLICAN PRESIDENCY!
The President-Elect identifies with the African American community.........so if the man says he is an African American and the African American community says he is African American......than let him be African American. It's been a long time coming for African Americans......so why is anyone trying to say otherwise.
We've had white presidents for the entire history of this country, and I am sure many of them had African American bloodlines somewhere in their ancestry, but they chose to identify with the Anglo American community.........mainly because their skin color was WHITE! I haven't read anything about an uproar in the past about the ethnicity of Presidents who identified with the Anglo American community even though their bloodlines probably would show they weren't completely Anglo American..........we are a melting pot of a country.......that's what I'm told.
If it makes the Anglo American community happy to see President-Elect Obama as being white, or biracial, than fine.......look at him that way, but let the African American community identify with him because he identifies with them.
HELL, NOBODY WANTS TO IDENTIFY WITH SOON-TO-BE EX-PRESIDENT BUSH.
I THINK IT'S KINDA COOL THAT EVERYONE WANTS TO IDENTIFY WITH PRESIDENT-ELECT OBAMA. LET'S JUST HOPE THAT AFTER HE TAKES OFFICE HE CAN CHANGE THE COURSE OF STUPIDITY THAT WE HAVE ALLOWED OURSELVES TO BE LED DOWN FOR THE PAST EIGHT YEARS.
